빗장 풀린 하늘

고개 젖히니 하늘이 나를 들이켠다
목을 축이는, 저 우윳빛 목덜미
빗장 풀린 푸름이 내게 활짝 열려
주어진 이름들을 남김없이 삼켜낸다

두 눈은 우물이 되고 — 아득한 현기증
어질거리는 계단 아래, 이 달콤한 폐허로
동공이 열린다 — 이제 나는 추락한다
바닥을 뚫고 지나, 아늑한 그늘 속으로

거꾸로 매달린 바다
찰랑이며, 그 젖은 천장을 드리우고
가장자리에서 흘러, 붓지도 않았는데, 풀려버린 채
초록을 향해 비워져 간다

공포는 달콤해지고 — 타나토스
물거품 면사포를 젖히고, 입 맞추는 검은 신랑
환희가 열린다 — 기꺼이 맞이하며
남은 숨결마저 앗아간다 — 쉿, 그대로, 그래

날개도 없이, 깃털 하나 없이, 집으로 가는 길
마침내 하늘이 끝나는 곳에 닿으니
깊고 거대한 쪽빛의 아가리가 묵묵히
기다리고 있다: 오라, 음미하라, 그리고 스러져라

Sky, Unlatched

i tilt my skull and heaven drinks
sipping, a milk-white throat
unlatched, the blue swings wide for me
gulping each given name

eyes turn to wells — vertigo
down that dizzy stair, this sugared ruin
pupils widen — falling now
under past bottom, into soft shade

somewhere an ocean hangs upturned
brimming, its ceiling wet
spilled from her rim, unpoured, undone
emptying toward green

terror sweetens — thanatos
kissing one mouth, dark bridegroom, veiled in foam
rapture opens — welcoming
stealing what breath remains — hush, hold, yes

wingless, unfeathered, homeward bound
arriving where sky ends
deep indigo maws, patient, huge
waiting: come, taste, dissolve
